At the Penticton Trade & Convention Centre which is a short drive from Summerland ,The Okanagan Fest of Ale Society hosts an annual Consumer Craft Beer Festival, promoting the craft beer industry, boosting local tourism, and supporting charitable organizations in the South Okanagan Similkameen region. Since its inception, the festival has donated over $750,000 to registered charities and non-profits. The event has received numerous accolades, such as 2019 Penticton Best of the South Okanagan: 2nd place Best Event or Festival
